Today, the EULEX Head of Mission, Bernd Borchardt met the Head of the Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) Hasan Preteni. During the meeting Borchardt highlighted the availability to further improve the working relationship between both Institutions.

"EULEX supports all Institutions which enforce the rule of law in Kosovo, which is also a pivotal aspect of the European Union. The Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) should be safeguarded from any interference in order to fulfil its mandate", said Borchardt.

Furthermore, the draft on the law on prevention of conflict of interest was discussed, as well as the possibilities of improvement of the cooperation between ACA and prosecution.
