EULEX police from the War Crimes Investigation Unit (WCIU) today arrested an individual charged with war crime against the civilian population, because he allegedly raped a Kosovo Albanian woman during the Kosovo conflict.

The arrest was ordered by a EULEX judge from Basic Court of Mitrovica.

The case is being investigated by a EULEX Special Prosecutor from the Special Prosecution Office of Kosovo (SPRK).
