Today, a mixed panel of Kosovo and EULEX judges at the District Court of Prishtinë/Priština acquitted S.M., S.M. and S.S. of the charges against them because of insufficient evidence.

They were charged with war crimes against the civilian population.

The prosecution was represented by a Kosovo prosecutor from the Kosovo Special Prosecution Office.

An appeal can be filed within 15 days.
