On 21 November 2014, an Indictment was filed at the Basic Court of Gjilan charging a male from Kosovo with  Attempting to Commit Aggravated Murder, Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm and Attacking Official Persons Performing Official Duties. The case concerns allegations that, in September and December
2004, the defendant attacked and opened fire on police officers in Skopje and in Tetovo causing a number of them serious gunshot injuries. He fled the crime scenes. He was arrested in Kosovo in January of this year and has been remanded on detention since then. This was a joint investigation carried out by EULEX Organised Crime investigators together with prosecutors and investigators from the Republic of Macedonia. The case is being conducted by an international Prosecutor from SPRK.
