The Court of Appeals held today a public session in the so called Klecka-case, involving ten defendants who were acquitted of the War Crimes charges by the Basic Court of Pristina on 17 September, 2013. The parties were given opportunity to present their cases. The Special Prosecutor is asking the Court of Appeals to modify the judgment of the first instance and find the defendants guilty.
The Court of Appeals has not yet reached a decision in the case. Once deliberated the parties will be served with the final written judgment when it is concluded.
