EULEX informs that three out of seven defendants of the so-called "Drenica Group" case did not appear for the hearing at the Mitrovica Basic Court which started today.

The presiding judge in the case has therefore issued an arrest warrant for the three defendants, who are fugitives from justice.

EULEX calls on Kosovo Correctional Services, as the institution with legal responsibility for transfer of defendants to trials, as well as the Kosovo Police, to redouble their efforts in bringing the three fugitives to justice.
