Kosovo Police, under supervision of EULEX prosecution in an operation in Pristina, which started last night, arrested three Kosovo citizens, suspects of taking part in armed robberies in the Kingdom of Bahrain in September this year, involving the theft of jewelry (luxury watches) worth over 1.1 Million EUR. The suspects are arrested on charges of aggravated coercion and assault, causing grievous bodily harm and direct participation in an organised group which committed an aggravated robbery. Simultaneous four house searches were conducted.
The investigation into this case is conducted by Kosovo Police, under the supervision of a EULEX prosecutor from the Special Prosecution Office in Kosovo (SPRK).
The operation was duly authorized by a EULEX pre-trial judge from the Pristina Basic Court.
