On 11 July, outgoing EULEX Head Alexandra Papadopoulou held a series of farewell meetings with President Hashim Thaçi, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli, Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri, LDK President Isa Mustafa and Social Democratic Party President Shpend Ahmeti.

Papadopoulou thanked her interlocutors for the excellent cooperation with EULEX before and during her tenure as Head of Mission and expressed hope that the local counterparts will remain committed to improving the rule of law in Kosovo. She assured that EULEX will remain at their side to help make the rule of law system in Kosovo more resilient and accountable.
