From 07 to 09 September, the European Union Civilian Training Initiative (EUCTI), in cooperation with the Slovenian Centre for European Perspective, has delivered the three-day training “Digital Communications in Civilian Crisis Management” for the European Union Rule of Law Mission (EULEX) staff and for communication experts from the European Union in Kosovo, KFOR, the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, the United Nations Kosovo Team, and the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK).
The training included both a theoretical and practical part and it focused on message development and storytelling through photography and videography, on how to leverage social networks and digital platforms - including the engagement of influencers - to help reach out to diverse target audiences, on rhetorical skills, and on the usage of open-source tools to verify online information.
The learning opportunity was facilitated by EULEX and it was delivered by experts from different public and private companies and organizations, who shared their state-of-the-art knowledge with the 21 participants.
