On 8 June, the Head of Mission of EULEX, Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, gave an interview to the Associated Press about the recent outburst of violence in northern Kosovo, where several KFOR soldiers were seriously injured. Wigemark emphasized that it is vital that these kinds of incidents are not allowed to flare up. According to Wigemark, the ongoing Dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina is the venue to sort out most of the outstanding issues.
