On 16 June, a group of 25 students from the Amsterdam University College were hosted by the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX). The students were briefed by the EULEX Spokesperson, Donika Berisha Rizaj, who engaged in an interactive discussion with them about the various strands of the Mission’s mandate. The visitors were very curious to know more about the Mission’s role as a second security responder, its work at the Institute of Forensic Medicine, EULEX’s activities aimed at combating gender-based violence, and the Mission’s robust monitoring of the entire criminal justice chain. Asked about career and internship opportunities within the Mission, the students were encouraged to apply for its international internship programme, which offers a unique opportunity for career development and networking for young professionals.
