On 25 June 2024, following a consolidated tradition, the Medical Unit of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) organized the 15th Blood Donation Campaign to support the National Center for Blood Transfusion of Kosovo thanks to the voluntary participation of EULEX staff and a number of local service providers.

The Transfusion Medicine Specialist Dr. Fatmir Hajdari welcomed the excellent cooperation with EULEX, explaining how these regular campaigns greatly support the high demands for blood products, and encouraging everyone to join such initiatives.

Blood donations are essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries, and they help maintain a stable blood supply for emergencies and ongoing medical needs.
