EULEX Strengthening Division in collaboration with the Mission’s Gender Advisors and with full cooperation of all Kosovo institutions is proud to share with you the report “Police and Prosecutor Responses to Domestic Violence in Kosovo.”

In light of EULEX ‘s mandate to monitor, mentor and advise Kosovo Police and the Kosovo Basic Prosecution Offices through the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, the Strengthening Division has conducted research into these institutions’ responses to domestic violence. The research was conducted in collaboration with the Mission’s Gender Advisors. 

The final report examines the current standing of Kosovo Police and the Kosovo Basic Prosecution Offices responses to incidents of domestic violence in Kosovo. In accordance, the report makes recommendations to Kosovo Police, the Kosovo Basic Prosecution Offices, EULEX Kosovo, and other stakeholders on how to provide early and effective response to victims of domestic violence.
