On 19 January 2017, Malcolm Simmons, President of EULEX Kosovo Judges, received students from the European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation (EMA) and European Interuniversity Centre (EIUC), Venice at the newly built Palace of Justice, during the second day of their visit to the Mission. During the visit, judge Simmons, provided a concise overview on the EULEX Executive mandate and the activities of the EULEX Judges within the Kosovo Judiciary.

 The visit provided an opportunity for the students to inquire openly about the challenges and accomplishments EULEX Judges have encountered in Kosovo throughout the past years. Furthermore, the visit permitted a fruitful exchange of ideas regarding human rights in Kosovo.
