EULEX Prosecutor Drew G. Engel spoke at the ‘Lessons Learned’ workshop organised by Demand 4 Justice (D4J) last week, a live law clinic providing pro bono (free) legal representation to individuals in need of assistance.
 
Engel’s discussion with D4J legal advocates and students addressed a number of issues to improve the running of the clinics and suggestions to expand their reach. Engel stressed the importance of sustainable and fair legal representation for individuals through such clinics, and the value of the experience young law students receive through the D4J program.
