Today, EULEX Chief Prosecutor Claudio Pala and Kosovo Chief Prosecutor Aleksander Lumezi visited the Basic Prosecution of Mitrovica.

During this visit, they met with the Chief Prosecutor of Mitrovica Basic Prosecution Shyqri Syla, prosecutors working in the Mitrovica Basic Prosecution office, including newly appointed prosecutors from the minority community of Kosovo who have been integrated into the prosecutorial system of Kosovo as part of the implementation of Justice Agreement reached in Brussels. On that occasion, the Chief EULEX Prosecutor welcomed the newly appointed prosecutors and provided the prosecution staff of Mitrovica with a copy of the manual on “Enhancing the Capacity of Kosovo Prosecutors to Deal with Corruption: A Focus on Confiscation” that was prepared in the context of the EULEX training on the same subject matter held in Pristina, on 2nd and 3rd of June 2017.
