Today the EULEX Head of Mission, Ms. Alexandra Papadopoulou met Prof. Adem Nura, Chairman of the Kosovo Red Cross in EULEX headquarters. Members of the EULEX Recreational Advisory Board and the national contingents representatives were also present.

The EULEX Head of Mission handed over a donation of 5,155.00 euros to the Chairman of the Kosovo Red Cross. The amount handed over was collected during a charity event organized by EULEX contingents and volunteering local staff members.

“This donation is from the EULEX staff, just like the previous years. I am sure it is in very good hands and will be put to very good use for those who need help the most”, said Head of Mission during the handover event.

Nearly 2,000 euros more than the 2016 donation, the charity event has become a popular ‘traditional’ feature of the Mission’s contribution effort to initiatives assisting Kosovo people in need.
