Last week, Drew G. Engel, EULEX Special Prosecutor, conducted a presentation on the topic of ‘How to Make and Present an Closing Arguments’ to law students at the University in Prizren, in Kosovo.
The lecture was organised by the National Centre for State Courts (NCSC) in cooperation with the Law Faculty of Ulshin Hoti, University in Prizren and the Chamber of Advocates of Kosovo. The discussion classes were arranged as part of the Live Clinics / Demand for Justice Project (D4J), organised by NCSC.
During the presentation, Engel provided practical tips and advice to be used when giving a closing statement on trial. D4J Clinic students then had the opportunity to learn from Engel’s international experience where they were given the chance to ask different questions related to the topic and the legal professional in general.
This was Engel’s 3rd involvement in the project overall with 10 lectures being delivered so far. Engel will deliver 3 more lectures and presentations this week to the Law Schools of University of Mitrovice, University of Peja, and University of Prishtina.
