The ‘Cycle Kosovo for Children’ event concluded on 9 June the sixth annual tour around Kosovo with the support of EULEX and other institutions, organizations, and companies.

This year, some 30 cyclists toured around Kosovo’s main cities in order to support the work of the Action for Mothers and Children. The over 9,000 euros raised this year thanks to the contributions of companies and individuals will be used to buy hospital beds for babies at the Neonatology Clinic in Mitrovica.

EULEX, together with local and international institutions, organizations, and companies, has been regularly supporting this cycling event. This year, the Mission provided three vehicles, medical kits, handheld radios and water supplies. The greatest contribution was our staff members’ active participation: six of them were part of the support team, while three members participated as cyclists.

The ‘Cycle Kosovo for Children’ is an annual fundraising event organized by the Action for Mothers and Children.
