Today, EULEX police from the War Crimes Investigation Unit (WCIU) arrested two individuals charged with committing war crime against the civilian population in relation to the rape and mistreatment of two Kosovo Albanian women during the Kosovo conflict.

The suspects are due to appear before a EULEX judge at the Basic Court in Mitrovica.

The case is being investigated by a EULEX Special Prosecutor from the Kosovo Special Prosecution Office (SPRK).
