A EULEX judge ordered detention on remand for one month against four individuals who were arrested Friday during a joint operation led by the Kosovo Police Directorate of Economic Crime and Corruption, EULEX prosecutors and the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo.

The four suspects are charged with the criminal offences of accepting stolen goods and fraud. They were detained while trying to conduct an illegal transaction of gold. A large amount of gold was also seized during the operation.

The case is being investigated by a EULEX district prosecutor.
